Huriye Boyraz, President of the Kastamonu Association for the Solidarity of Individuals with Special Needs and Their Families, along with association members Seyhan Şahin, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Havva Kaçan, and an individual with special needs, Cengizhan Koç, visited Prof. Dr. Selahattin Kaymakcı, Vice Rector of Kastamonu University, in his office on August 6, 2025.

 During the visit, the participation of individuals with special needs in social life, equal opportunities in education, and the collaboration possibilities between universities and non-governmental organizations were discussed. During the visit, while exchanging ideas, Association President Huriye Boyraz informed Vice Rector Kaymakcı about their activities and future projects.

Our Vice Rector, Prof. Dr. Selahattin Kaymakcı, expressed his satisfaction with the visit and emphasized that the university is always supportive of individuals with special needs.

Prof. Dr. Kaymakcı said, "It is of great importance to us that all segments of society can benefit from educational opportunities. "As a university, we will continue to support the efforts in this field with a sense of social responsibility," he said.

 The visit ended with a photo session to commemorate the day.
