TEKNOFEST 2025, Turkey's largest aviation, space, and technology festival, will once again be a gathering where thousands of young people showcase their projects in technology and science this year.

Serap Herkiloğlu, a master's student in the Computer Engineering Department of our university's  Institute of Graduate School, won the second-place award in the Health Category at the 2242 University Student Research Projects Competition organized by TÜBİTAK as part of TEKNOFEST 2025.

The project, which stands out for its innovative and solution-oriented approach, aims to contribute to technological developments in the healthcare field. 

Our Rector, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hamdi Topal, expressed his satisfaction with this achievement as follows: The successes of our university students on national and international platforms make us happy. The award won by our student Herkiloğlu at a prestigious event like TEKNOFEST highlights both our university's scientific productivity and our young researchers' potential.
