Kastamonu University Faculty of Fine Arts and Design (GSTF) has implemented another investment aimed at enhancing students' proficiency in the field of digital design. The modern Mac Atelier, established within the faculty, was inaugurated with a ceremony attended by our Rector, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hamdi Topal.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, our Rector emphasized that investments to strengthen the University's educational infrastructure are ongoing. In his speech, our Rector stated the following:
“Design is a field where the human imagination meets technology. Success in this field requires not only talent but also support from state-of-the-art facilities. The Mac Atelier we are opening provides an environment where our students can fully utilize their creativity. By providing our students with the powerful equipment they need, we enable them to combine their imaginations with technology. We believe that the software infrastructure, high-quality screens, and professional systems offered by the workshop will benefit our students, and we wish all our faculty and students the best.
Following the opening, our Rector and the accompanying delegation toured the Mac Atelier, chatted with the students, and learned about the work being done and the projects planned for implementation.
The faculty administration expressed their gratitude to our Rector, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hamdi Topal, and the relevant units of the university for their support in establishing the Atelier, stating that the Mac Atelier will enhance the quality of education at the faculty.
The Atelier will enable students to undertake their graphic design, animation, video editing, and other multimedia projects in a professional environment, utilizing high-performance Apple Mac computers.
Additionally, the workshop aims to help students translate their theoretical knowledge into practice, develop innovative projects, and produce work that meets industry standards.
