Trakya University sponsored the Interuniversity Judo Turkey Championship in Edirne from May 13–14, 2025, and our university came away victorious. Twelve athletes from our university competed in the competition, which was attended by other universities from all around Turkey, and we finished in seventh place.

 During the championship, our athlete Müberra Güneş won a gold medal in the competitions. Ayben İn won a silver medal in her weight category and a gold medal in the open weight category. Feryat Gönültaş also won a silver medal. Arda Cenker Yaz, Muhammed Yazıcı, and Nimet Kaniyolu were among the bronze medal winners.

As a result of the rankings, our university's women's judo team ranked second overall in Turkey. Our athletes contributed to the medal standings with the results they achieved in the matches held in different weight categories.
