The international online exhibition titled "From The Caucasus-2," organized by the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design at Kastamonu University and bringing together artists from different geographies, was presented to art lovers on May 1, 2025.
This event, which is a continuation of the "From The Caucasus" exhibition held in 2024 and received great interest, will be open to the audience from May 1 to May 31, 2025.The exhibition, while making the multi-layered cultural heritage of the Caucasus visible through art, offers the audience a rich cultural and artistic experience.
In the exhibition, in addition to the Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design, Prof. Erol Yıldır, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Metin Uçar, Dr. Faculty Member Teoman Çığşar, and Res. Asst. Merve Mehtap Bulut, artists from Turkey such as Ahmet Özel, Faruk Kutlu, Feriha Eviren Kankoç, Kazım Artut, and Songül Kınık also participated.In addition, artists from Caucasian countries such as Chechnya, Abkhazia, Georgia, Kabardino-Balkaria, Balkaria, Adygea, Russia, Azerbaijan, and Dagestan also contributed to the exhibition with their works.
The exhibition, conducted entirely in a virtual environment, aims to create an interactive space that transcends borders and establish a cultural bridge between different peoples through art, while offering visitors both a visual and intellectual journey.
