The "Student Community Introduction Days," which started on October 5, 2026, under the coordination of the Kastamonu University Health, Culture, and Sports Department, continue with events organized on October 7, 2026.
During the Introduction Days held in our university's Event Area, students have the opportunity to learn about the student clubs operating under the Directorate of Health, Culture, and Sports and to join clubs that align with their interests.
The 187 student clubs operating at our university are introducing their activities at the stands they have set up in the event area and are also registering new members. Students also participate in the events with various games and competitions organized by the communities.
On the program of the event dated October 7, our Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Mehmet Atalan and Prof. Dr. Ömer Küçük, Acting Secretary General Assoc. Prof. Dr. İbrahim Demirbaş, Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences Prof. Dr. Abdülkadir Tuna, Head of the Health, Culture, and Sports Department Mehmet Sena Aygül, and Acting Head of the Student Affairs Department Aydın Caymaz visited the stands of student communities. Chatting with the representatives of the student societies, our vice rector and University administrators were informed about the activities carried out by the students.
Listening to the students' ideas, projects, and new semester goals, our vice reectors and University administrators emphasized the importance of activities that contribute to the social, cultural, and academic development of students, as well as the role of student communities in university life. Students were also advised to prepare projects, participate in the projects and activities carried out within our University, and bring their ideas to life.
Additionally, as part of the Introduction Days, the Health, Culture, and Sports Department offered rice to the students. Students gathered at the event area where the offering was held.
The Student Community Introduction Days, which started on October 5, will end on Thursday, October 8, 2026.
