This extensive study, including faculties, vocational schools, and institutes, detailed students' experiences regarding teaching and learning processes.
In the analyzes conducted with a total of 2,625 students, the interest, guidance, and in-class interaction of the teaching staff were among the strongest aspects. Additionally, a sense of belonging to the faculty and the diversity of social and cultural activities were also highlighted by students as other positive elements.
In the research, increasing practical training opportunities, strengthening internship processes, and developing diversity in measurement and evaluation methods were among the most frequently mentioned needs of the students. In addition to this, access to digital course materials and infrastructure investments were also among the major expectations that drew attention.
Overall satisfaction between units is high.
The study showed that student satisfaction in many faculties and vocational schools was above the overall average. However, in some units, particularly in areas such as practical training and internship opportunities, the need for development became prominent. Increasing social and cultural activities and strengthening access to digital content were identified as common expectations across many units.
Strategic Steps for the Future
The study included policy recommendations for sharing good practices with all academic units, strengthening student-centered learning environments, and increasing sectoral collaborations. Our university administration emphasized that the findings obtained will be used not only to analyze the current situation but also as a strategic roadmap for creating a strong, inclusive, and sustainable educational vision for the future.
