Special Talent Exams for the 2025–2026 Academic Year Begin at Kastamonu University Faculty of Fine Arts and Design

The special talent exams for the Departments of Plastic Arts (Painting, Graphic Design, Ceramics and Glass, Traditional Turkish Arts) and Musicology at the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design, Kastamonu University, began on August 19, 2025.

Applications from Across Türkiye
This year, 168 applications were submitted for the Plastic Arts and Musicology departments. Sixty-four students took the Plastic Arts exam, with 56 students successfully passing. Forty candidates participated in the Musicology exam. While the Plastic Arts exam lasted 90 minutes, the Musicology exams were conducted individually and continued throughout the day.

Supportive Faculty Environment
During the examination process, the Faculty's well-equipped workshops, the arrangement of the exam halls, and the smooth organization gave candidates confidence. The facilities provided by our University and the examination committee's careful work helped the candidates comfortably demonstrate their talents.

After the exams, candidates expressed their satisfaction with the committee's approach. Although they admitted having difficulty controlling their excitement throughout the process, they stated that the exam was productive. Candidates also conveyed their best wishes for success to all their peers who took part in the exams.
