At the iftar program organized by our university's General Directorate of International Relations within the scope of the month of Ramadan, our university administration met with international students from various regions who have come to our university. The program, part of the gatherings held at various times throughout the month of Ramadan, took place in a sincere environment conducive to the spiritual atmosphere of Ramadan.
The program was attended by our Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hamdi Topal, as well as our Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Mehmet Atalan, Prof. Dr. Ömer Küçük, and Prof. Dr. Selahattin Kaymakcı, General Coordinator of External Relations Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Öztürk Akcaoğlu, and Head of the Health, Culture, and Sports Department, Mehmet Sena Aygül.
At the event, students from different countries, especially Indonesia, Palestine, and African countries, gathered at the same table to break their fast together. Our Rector and Vice Rectors chatted with the students and listened to their views.
Our Rector, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hamdi Topal, stated that universities are not only places where education is provided but also living spaces where different cultures coexist. Our Rector stated, "Our international students are among the most important values of our University." The coming together of different cultures fosters mutual understanding and tolerance. "Coming together in the spirit of sharing and solidarity during the month of Ramadan further strengthens our bond, The students expressed their satisfaction with the organized program, stating that such gatherings were valuable to them, and thanked the management of our University.
