Kastamonu University has participated in another international project to be implemented within the 2025 Erasmus+ Key Action 2 – Cooperation Partnerships in School Education (KA220-SCH) call.
The project, titled "Cultivating Peaceful Communities: Non-Violent Communication via Gamification", has been awarded funding with a budget of €250,000 under the project number 2025-1-TR01-KA220-SCH-000365821.
Coordinated by our University, the project will be led by Prof. Dr. S. Tunay Kamer, Faculty Member of the Department of Educational Sciences at the Faculty of Education and Coordinator of Artificial Intelligence Studies. The 24-month initiative will be carried out with partner institutions from Italy, Estonia, Germany, Poland, and Türkiye.
The project's primary goal is to promote non-violent communication through gamification methods, contribute to developing peaceful communities, and design innovative models for conflict resolution in educational environments. To this end, tailored educational materials will be prepared for teachers, students, and educators.
The international partners of the project include: Arte e Cultura Sociale (Italy), Kohtla-Järve Maleva Põhikool (Estonia), Nextstapp UG (Germany), Uniwersytet Wrocławski (Poland), and Kastamonu Provincial Directorate of National Education (Türkiye).
Regarding the project, our Rector, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hamdi Topal, stated:
