Kastamonu University has received approval from the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) to launch new master’s programs with thesis, aiming to enhance academic diversity in graduate education and provide students with opportunities to specialize in different disciplines.
This framework has established new programs under the Graduate School of Education in Nursing, Political Science and Public Administration (English), Musicology, Geography, and History of Science.
Our Rector, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hamdi Topal, stated that the diversification of master’s programs contributes to the academic structure of the University and expands the research opportunities available to students. He emphasized that each new program allows students to deepen their expertise and contributes to scientific production.
Highlighting that the programs will increase the number of highly qualified graduates, our Rector noted that they will bring significant benefits to the country and the academic community. He further underlined that through these new programs, Kastamonu University will become more visible and distinguished nationally and internationally.
