The innovative design developed by  Asssit.Prof. Dr. Erman Zurnacı, an academic staff at Kastamonu University, has been registered by the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office under the name "Circular Prism Cover and Mechanism." 

This invention aims to make the plug-socket connection of electrical devices more ergonomic, safe, and practical. The new system significantly enhances user experience and safety by making plug-socket interaction possible from all directions thanks to a connection mechanism that can be installed at an angle of approximately 360°. Its structure, which can be used with both surface-mounted sockets and extension cord power strips, allows the invention to have a wide range of applications.

The system, which offers ease of use in home, office, and industrial environments, is considered a remarkable innovation in terms of both energy efficiency and user safety. The circular prism cover and mechanism stand out due to their low-cost production advantage, the possibility of a secure connection with a large contact surface, and the optional LED lighting feature.
