The pattern design developed within the framework of applied design studies conducted by the Department of Graphic Design at Kastamonu University Faculty of Fine Arts and Design has been awarded a design registration certificate by the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office.
The design prepared by 4th-year student Aleyna Atalar under the supervision of Assist.Prof.Dr. Sofya C. Canbolat from the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design was registered by the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office for a period of 5 years.
The study aims to reinterpret cultural heritage through the lens of contemporary graphic design. The official national recognition of the students' creative works also highlights the quality of applied education.
Our Rector, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hamdi Topal, emphasized in his evaluation of the achieved success that universities are not only institutions that produce knowledge but also create added value in the fields of design, art, and innovation.
