Kastamonu University has added another project to its digitalization efforts by launching an information access platform for our students, academic and administrative staff, and external stakeholders.
Developed by the Information Technology Department and integrated with our University's website, the AI-supported chatbot system "KÜ-Alim" offers strong, fast, easy, and reliable access.
Instant Information Access with AI-Powered Assistant
KÜ-Alim was designed to instantly answer the frequently asked questions of our academic and administrative staff as well as external stakeholders. Academic calendars, department information, registration processes, scholarship and dormitory opportunities, and many other topics can be accessed in seconds with accurate and up-to-date information. Thus, the system aims to prevent information pollution and time loss, particularly during busy periods.
The system operates using a deep learning-based artificial neural network model. Thanks to advanced text understanding and context analysis technologies, it comprehends the questions users ask in natural language and provides quick and appropriate solutions. With this feature, it provides a human-like chat experience.
Multilingual Support for International Students
KÜ-Alim can understand and respond to questions not only in Turkish but also in different languages. This feature expands Kastamonu University's international reach and enhances our university's global communication power.
