The project titled "AI-Powered Social Entrepreneurship Decision Support Platform," prepared by Kastamonu University, has been awarded support under the results of the 3rd term applications for the European Solidarity Corps (ESC30) 2025.
According to the results announced by the Turkish National Agency, the supported project will be led by Research Assistant Rumeysa Budak from the Department of Economics at our University's Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences.
Among the projects eligible for support across Türkiye, only 8 universities are included in the list, and Kastamonu University is one of them.
Within the scope of the project to increase young people's knowledge and awareness in social entrepreneurship, a decision-support platform powered by AI is planned. The project aims to foster the generation of innovative ideas among young people and the development of their digital skills.
Our Rector, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hamdi Topal, stated that the project, which has qualified for support under the European Solidarity Corps Program, will contribute to our University's international project work and research activities.
Highlighting the importance of the project aimed at developing young people's knowledge and skills in social entrepreneurship and digital transformation, our Rector congratulated all stakeholders who contributed to the project, especially the project coordinator, Research Assistant Rumeysa Budak, and wished them success in their work.
