Kastamonu University has renewed its TS EN ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System Certificate and is entitled to receive the IQNET Certificate. 

In the document renewal audit conducted by the Turkish Standards Institution (TSE) from October 21 to 23, 2025, our University's academic and administrative processes were evaluated. With the completion of the audit, the TS EN ISO 9001:2015 certificate was renewed for the fourth time. 

The university continues to implement the Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) cycle in external audits that have been ongoing for four years. At the end of this year's audit process, our University was found eligible to receive the internationally recognized IQNET Certificate. IQNET is known as an international network comprising certification bodies from over 30 countries. 

Commenting on the matter, our Rector, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hamdi Topal, stated that the achieved result reflects the quality culture of our university. 

In his statement, our Rector said: “The renewal of our TS EN ISO 9001:2015 certificate and the acquisition of the IQNET Certificate are a concrete demonstration of our understanding of excellence and our commitment to continuous improvement. The IQNET certificate will further enhance our visibility on the international platform and our potential for collaboration. I would like to thank our Quality Coordination representatives and all academic and administrative staff who contributed to the process. I wish for the continued success of our university to increase.”
