Kastamonu University ranked in the 351–400 band in the 2026 Interdisciplinary Science Rankings (ISR) announced by Times Higher Education (THE). In the ranking, which evaluated 911 universities from 94 countries worldwide, 82 universities from Türkiye were included, and our university successfully ranked 28th nationally.
The ranking published by THE is based on a comprehensive evaluation under three main headings: inputs (19%), processes (16%), and outputs (65%). In this evaluation, the interdisciplinary research capacity of universities, the quality of their scientific processes, and the impact of their academic output are analyzed with a holistic approach.
