The KA131 and KA171 projects prepared by Kastamonu University within the scope of Erasmus+ Key Action 1 Mobility of Individuals for the 2026 application period have been awarded grant support by the Turkish National Agency. 

Our university will receive 334,350 euros under the KA131 Higher Education Student and Staff Mobility Project and 66,116 euros under the KA171 Higher Education Student and Staff Mobility Project. Thus, a total of 400,466 euros in grant support was provided to our University within the scope of the projects. 

Within the scope of the KA171 project, student and staff mobility will be carried out with higher education institutions in 11 different countries, including Indonesia, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Ukraine, Palestine, Jordan, Ghana, and South Africa.

Within the scope of the projects, a total of 125 mobilities are planned, including 58 student study mobilities, 22 student internship mobilities, 22 staff teaching mobilities, and 23 staff training mobilities. 

Thanks to the mobility programs, our students and staff will gain educational and work experience in different countries, and it will contribute to the development of academic collaborations between our University and higher education institutions in different countries, as well as the increase in the sharing of knowledge and experience.

Our Rector, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hamdi Topal, stated that the grant support obtained within the scope of the Erasmus+ Program contributes to our University's internationalization efforts, saying, "These projects, which support our students and staff in gaining education and work experience in different countries, also contribute to the development of our international academic collaborations. " We will continue to develop our international academic network with the grant support we obtained within the scope of the KA131 and KA171 projects."
