Kastamonu University hosted a delegation from Karabük University as part of its efforts to enhance the quality of postgraduate education. During the visit, postgraduate education processes, institutional operations, and digital automation systems were discussed.
The program began with a visit from Karabük University Vice Rector Prof. Dr. İsmail Rakıp Karaş, Director of the Graduate School Prof. Dr. Zeynep Özcan, and their accompanying delegation to the office of our Vice Rector, Prof. Dr. Selahattin Kaymakcı. Following the courtesy visit, a cooperation meeting was held at our university.
During the meeting held within the framework of external stakeholders and the advisory board, evaluations were made regarding the institutional structure, current programs, and academic capacity of our university in postgraduate education. The meeting also addressed academic and administrative issues encountered during the implementation of postgraduate programs, and explored opportunities for joint solutions and cooperation in these areas.
In the technical section of the meeting, the LEOS Graduate Education Automation System used by Karabük University was presented as a good practice example. The contributions of digitalization to postgraduate education processes were evaluated within the context of the quality-focused studies carried out by our University.
At the end of the discussions, a mutual exchange of views took place regarding the support for joint academic studies to be conducted between our University and Karabük University in the field of postgraduate education, with specific projects.
