Kastamonu University Daday Nafi and Ümit Çeri Vocational School of Higher Education Equestrian and Coaching Program achieved a national ranking in equestrianism. 

The first leg of the HiPP Development League Show Jumping 3rd Region competitions, organized as part of the Türkiye Equestrian Federation's 2026 activity program, was held in Antalya on April 4-5, 2026. Our university also participated in the event, which was attended by 154 horses and riders from various provinces of Türkiye.  

Under the leadership of Lecturer Ayhan Şanlı, our student Bahar Gülse Çeliker, a second-year student in the Equestrian and Coaching Program, participated in the competition with four athletes. She finished first in the Show Jumping category with her horse Sirius de Virton, leading the first stage of the league. 

As part of the competitions, our university team achieved first place in the Silver League Stage 1 team classification and overall ranking. With the results achieved, our University won the competitions in both individual and team categories. 

Daday Nafi and Ümit Çeri Vocational School Director Prof. Dr. Tolga Ulusoy included the following statements in his evaluation of the matter: “The result achieved is an indication of the applied education conducted at our college and the disciplined work of our students.
