Kastamonu University stood out with an overall occupancy rate of 96.36% based on the results of the 2025 Higher Education Institutions Exam (YKS) additional placements.

As a result of the additional placement, 403 students were placed in the 404 limits allocated to our university's associate degree programs, and 100 students were placed in the 118 quotas allocated to undergraduate programs. Thus, with 503 out of a total of 522 quotas filled, Kastamonu University once again demonstrated its desirability.

Our Rector, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hamdi Topal, stated that the achieved occupancy rates reflect the strong academic infrastructure and student-centered approach of Kastamonu University. Our rector stated that Kastamonu University aims to contribute to the development of its students not only academically but also socially and culturally.

Emphasizing that the high occupancy rate achieved in the additional placement process demonstrates confidence in the university's educational approach, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hamdi Topal thanked all academic and administrative staff who contributed to this success and stated that they would continue to develop a quality-focused and sustainable educational approach.

 Registration will be open from October 10 to October 17.

The registration process has begun for students who were placed at Kastamonu University according to the 2025-YKS additional placement results. Students can complete their electronic registration (e-registration) process via e-Devlet between October 10-12, 2025, and their in-person registration at the relevant academic units between October 10-17, 2025.
