A consultation meeting was held to plan the activities to be carried out for the 20th anniversary of Kastamonu University's establishment, and work was initiated.

At the meeting held on July 4, 2025, representatives from academic and administrative units, as well as application and research centers, came together to exchange views on the scope of possible studies and activities.

 The meeting was attended by Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Selahattin Kaymakcı and Prof. Dr. Ömer Küçük, Secretary General Assoc. Prof. Dr. İbrahim Demirbaş, Acting Branch Manager of the Secretary General's Office Dr. Sema İrem Orhan, and a large number of academic and administrative staff.

 In the meeting where the scope, content, and planning of the events reflecting our university's 20 years of institutional accumulation and development were discussed, the importance of the units actively participating in the process was emphasized.

 Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Selahattin Kaymakcı stated that the university's 20th year is a special period for celebrating past achievements and future goals and that it is aimed at highlighting scientific and cultural values with the contributions of all units in this meaningful year.

 Prof. Dr. Ömer Küçük stated that this anniversary is important for commemorating the university's past and shaping future goals together, that the contributions of all units are of great significance, and that he believes meaningful events will be held together.

 Based on the suggestions and evaluations of the participants, it is aimed to organize various events in scientific, cultural, and social fields that befit the 20th anniversary of our University.
