The children's theater titled "Color Monster," organized in collaboration with the Child Education Application and Research Center of Kastamonu University and the Provincial Directorate of National Education, met with its young audience.

Under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aysun Ata Aktürk, the event organized in collaboration with undergraduate students of Preschool Teaching and Music Teaching was held on May 11, 2026, at the Hoca Ahmet Yesevi Cultural Center. 

The program started with a concert by the student choir, which took the stage under the leadership of  Assist.Prof.Dr.  Metin Buzduğu from the Department of Music Education, Fine Arts Education Division, Faculty of Education. The pieces performed were followed with interest by the children and guests in the hall. 

The event was attended by Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Selahattin Kaymakcı, Provincial National Education Branch Manager Vedat Terlemez, academic and administrative staff, students, children, and their families. 

The play, which aims to help children recognize and express their emotions and develop empathy, won the admiration of young audiences for its colorful stage design, costumes, and characters. 

The program concluded with the presentation of certificates of appreciation to the contributors and a commemorative photo session to mark the day.
