A tour was organized by the Turkish Language Teaching Application and Research Center (TÖMER) of Kastamonu University for foreign students to become more familiar with Kastamonu's historical and cultural heritage, including visits to the Living Museum and the City Archive of Kastamonu University.
During the visit, our students had the opportunity to closely examine traditional household items specific to Kastamonu, objects used in daily life, regional clothing, and folk customs. During the museum tour, students who also played traditional games had the opportunity to experience cultural heritage spanning from the past to the present.
As part of the visit, information was also provided about the traditions specific to the month of Ramadan and the cultural practices associated with it. Through events organized by TÖMER, students' language skills are developed, and they are given the opportunity to become more familiar with Turkish culture.
