Kastamonu University has completed the "Artificial Intelligence Tools Training" organized for its administrative staff in line with its digital transformation goals.
The training program planned by our university's Artificial Intelligence Studies Coordinationship was held in the Computer Laboratory of the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture from July 1-9, 2025.
In the trainings, the staff of the Information Processing Department, as well as the executive committee members of the Artificial Intelligence Studies Coordination, Murat Yayla, Ufuk Acı, and Onur Altıntaş, thoroughly addressed topics such as the role of artificial intelligence technologies in increasing efficiency in public institutions, usage scenarios, and their integration into daily business processes.
Participants were informed about practical examples in areas such as text processing with artificial intelligence, visual content production, data analysis, reporting, presentation preparation, and content editing. Additionally, awareness of privacy and ethical usage principles was also raised.
Artificial Intelligence Studies Coordinator and Faculty of Education, Department of Educational Sciences Faculty Member Prof. Dr. Tunay Kamer, in a statement regarding the education program, noted that artificial intelligence is increasingly present in every aspect of life and emphasized the importance of effective use of these technologies in public services. The training sessions, attended by a total of approximately 350 administrative staff, were conducted face-to-face in groups of 50. Additionally, an online session was planned for the seventh group. Starting in October, a similar training program is aimed to be organized for the academic staff as well.
