Kastamonu University organized a comprehensive information meeting regarding residence procedures and application processes for international students.
The meeting, conducted in collaboration with the Kastamonu Provincial Directorate of Migration Management and the International Student Coordination Office of Kastamonu University, was held on May 27, 2025, in the Faculty of Theology Conference Hall.
The main agenda of the meeting was the residence permits for international students in Turkey, application processes, and current practices. The event was attended by the International Student Coordinator Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Rıfat Kayış, Lecturer Yunus Sürücü, Provincial Immigration Specialist Assistant Adem Erdoğan from the Kastamonu Provincial Directorate of Immigration, and a large number of international students.
During the presentation, Provincial Immigration Assistant Specialist Adem Erdoğan provided detailed information about the types of residence permits in Turkey, extension procedures, required documents, and the application schedule. Additionally, he provided warnings about the efforts being made to combat human trafficking and highlighted the issues that students should pay attention to.

He highlighted the potential issues that might arise during this process and the solutions needed to address them.
