A general information, coordination, and orientation meeting regarding study and internship mobility in higher education for our students under the Erasmus+ Program was held by the Erasmus Coordination Office of Kastamonu University.
On February 24, 2026, our students and representatives from the Erasmus Office attended the meeting held in the Sezai Karakoç Hall of the Central Library. In the program, academic and administrative matters were discussed in detail to ensure the mobility process was conducted in a planned and healthy manner; participants' questions were answered.
Speaking at the opening of the meeting, our university's Erasmus Coordinator, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gökhan Kaya highlighted the academic and cultural opportunities offered by the Erasmus+ KA131 Program and shared the steps to be followed in the process with a comprehensive presentation.
Stating that international experience contributes to students' academic development and personal accumulation, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kaya provided reminders about the calendar, documents, and obligations to be considered during the mobility process.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kaya provided detailed information on the application process, preparation of the Learning Agreement, visa procedures, grant processes, and the adaptation phase. Additionally, clarity was provided on communication with partner institutions, course matching processes, and post-return academic recognition issues.
The meeting concluded after the participants' opinions and questions were gathered.
