The invention titled "Digital White Desk: AI-Supported Multi-Modal Problem Reporting and Management System," developed by Associate Professor Dr. Kemal Akyol, a faculty member in the Computer Engineering Department of the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture at Kastamonu University, and Associate Professor Dr. Ümit Atila, a faculty member in the Computer Engineering Department of the Faculty of Engineering at Gazi University, and applied for registration under the ownership of Kastamonu University, has been registered by the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office.
Our university has added another achievement to its academic productivity in the fields of digital transformation and artificial intelligence-based applications. The system, which analyzes user needs, provides multi-modal communication, and accelerates problem-solving processes with artificial intelligence, aims to contribute to university-ecosystem collaborations, corporate communication structures, and service processes.
Our Rector, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hamdi Topal, made the following statement regarding this registered patent: "It is a great source of happiness for us to see the academic knowledge of our university translated into tangible outcomes. The Digital White Desk project offers an innovative model for institutions by combining artificial intelligence and user-centered management processes. This type of work strengthens both our scientific productivity and our country's technological capacity. I sincerely congratulate our inventors and wish them continued success."
