Within the scope of the "Vocational School Education Cooperation Protocol" signed between the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) and the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), a University Protocol Implementation Meeting was held in our University's Rectorate Meeting Hall.
The meeting was attended by our Vice Rector, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Atalan; representatives from the Kastamonu Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Kastamonu Commodity Exchange; the directors of vocational schools; and representatives from the chambers and exchanges paired under the protocol.
Opening the meeting, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Atalan stated that the cooperation protocol implemented between YÖK and TOBB contributed to the integration of vocational school education processes with the industry, and emphasized the importance of the sustainability and effective execution of the collaboration between our University and the chambers and exchanges.
At the meeting, presentations were made about the work carried out by the representatives of Kastamonu Vocational School, Taşköprü Vocational School, İnebolu Vocational School, Tosya Vocational School, and Araç Rafet Vergili Vocational School, which were paired with the Kastamonu Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Kastamonu Commodity Exchange under the protocol.
While evaluating the activities carried out under the protocol in the presentations, the outputs obtained during the implementation process and the plans for the upcoming period were discussed. In the final section of the meeting, the University Protocol Executive Committee provided general evaluations, and opinions and suggestions were shared.
