A documentary film screening and photo exhibition were held on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, in the Faculty Foyer Area as part of the July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day by the Faculty of Communication at Kastamonu University. Academic and administrative staff participated in the event. 

In the exhibition opened in the foyer area, there were photographs taken by Anadolu Agency reporters during and after the July 15, 2016, coup attempt by the Fetullah Terrorist Organization (FETO). The photographs reflected the nation's resistance against the coup attempt and its determination to uphold democracy and the national will. 

As part of the event, a screening of the documentary titled "From Night to Dawn: July 15," prepared by TRT Haber, was held in the Faculty Conference Hall. The documentary focused on the events that took place on the night of the coup attempt and the heroic resistance displayed by the people. 

Visitors can view the Anadolu Agency-prepared photo exhibition until July 18, 2025.
