A comprehensive coordination meeting was held within the framework of the "Kastamonu University Institutional Adaptation Program," prepared to support the effective, efficient, and sustainable adaptation of newly appointed academic and administrative staff to the institution.
On April 2, 2026, representatives from all department heads and coordinators at our university attended the event held in the Rectorate Meeting Hall. In the program conducted under the chairmanship of the Coordinator of Excellence in Education, Prof. Dr. Berat Ahi, the Vice-Rector, Prof. Dr. Selahattin Kaymakcı, the Acting Secretary General, Assoc. Prof. Dr. İbrahim Demirbaş and representatives from the relevant departments participated.
The meeting was organized to restructure the compliance processes at our university, with a new understanding that focuses not only on information dissemination but also on internalizing corporate culture and strengthening a sense of duty. In line with studies conducted by the Education Excellence Coordination, a holistic model was adopted, in which the adaptation process is directly linked to the quality of education and teaching.
Within the scope of the prepared program, a comprehensive content plan was developed, starting with an introduction to our university's history, mission, and vision, and covering administrative and academic operations, quality assurance processes, digital systems, financial processes, student-centered services, and internationalization activities. It aims to ensure institutional compliance in a systematic and sustainable manner through a structured model that aligns each department's contribution with its area of expertise.
In the meeting, evaluations were also made of strengthening internal communication during the adaptation process, creating effective guidance mechanisms, and improving inter-departmental workflows. It was emphasized that the new staff's correct understanding of the institution and their healthy management of processes are critically important for service quality and institutional trust.
It is intended that the Corporate Compliance Program, implemented with the Excellence in Education approach, will enhance employees' sense of belonging to the university, help them perform their duties more consciously and effectively, and strengthen our university's quality-focused development process.
