Within the scope of the TÜBİTAK 2237-A Scientific Training Activities Support Program 2025 2nd term application call, five projects from our university were among those deemed worthy of support.
Among the projects supported by TÜBİTAK is the project titled "Components of the Scientific Process in the Fields of Biological Sciences and Applied Natural Sciences - 3," led by Research Assistant Dr. Aysun İnan Genç from the Faculty of Science, which aims to promote scientific process-focused education.
The project "The Use of Artificial Intelligence-Based Language Models within the Framework of Publication Ethics," prepared under the leadership of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Erkam Temir from the Faculty of Communication, aims to improve the ability of academics to use artificial intelligence tools within an ethical framework.
The project titled "Teaching Northwest Group Turkish Dialects as a Foreign Language," prepared by Assist.Prof.Dr. Döne Arslan from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, aims to contribute to students' Turkish dialect learning processes.
The project "Building Behavior in Earthquakes: Material Strength and Soil Effect," led by Assist. Prof.Dr. Mehmet Uğur Yılmazoğlu, a faculty member from the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, aims to promote earthquake-resistant buildings.
The project titled "Training on Athletic Performance and Physical Education Technology Applications" by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Binnur Çelebi from the Faculty of Sports Sciences will contribute to the development of technological skills in sports education during the digital transformation process.
Our Rector, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hamdi Topal, stated that our University is working toward sustainable development goals in the fields of research and education, and that the supported projects will contribute to broader scientific events in the future.
