11 programs affiliated with Kastamonu University have obtained the right to use the Türkiye Qualifications Framework (TYÇ) logo on their graduation certificates.
Following the decision made at the 53rd Türkiye Qualifications Framework (TYÇ) Board meeting held on June 5, 2026, 11 more programs from our University have been included among those eligible to use the TYÇ logo.
The programs that won the right to use the TYÇ logo are: Computer Programming at Cide Rıfat Ilgaz Vocational School of Higher Education, Culinary Arts at Daday Nafi and Ümit Çeri Vocational School of Higher Education, Printing and Publishing Technologies, Computer Programming, Electrical, Electronics Technology, Business Management, Mechanical and Mechatronics at Kastamonu Vocational School of Higher Education, First Aid and Emergency at Taşköprü Vocational School of Higher Education, and Electrical at Tosya Vocational School of Higher Education.
Students graduating from these programs will have the TYÇ logo on their diplomas. Thus, it aims to increase the international visibility of the qualifications held by graduates, facilitate the recognition of their diplomas, and enable them to benefit more effectively from the opportunities provided in education and employment processes.
With 11 more programs gaining the right to use the TYÇ logo in the first six months of 2026, the number of programs using the TYÇ logo at our University has increased to 25.
In his evaluations on the subject, our Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hamdi Topal stated that they aim to increase recognition at both national and international levels, produce qualified graduates, and continuously improve the quality of education and teaching.
Our Rector, who thanked the academic and administrative staff who contributed to obtaining the right to use the TYÇ logo, stated that this development would help make graduates' qualifications more visible internationally and increase recognition of their diplomas.
Our Rector also thanked the President of the Higher Education Council, Prof. Dr. Erol Özvar, the President of the Higher Education Quality Board, Prof. Dr. Ümit Kocabıçak, and the members of the Higher Education Council for their support in the process.
