Members of the Young TEMA Community, who were the national winners in the "University with the Most Volunteers of the Year" category in the Hayrettin Karaca and Ali Nihat Gökyiğit Volunteer Awards organized by the TEMA Foundation among 81 provinces and 150 universities, visited our Rector, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hamdi Topal, in his office on May 15, 2026. 

During the visit, the Young TEMA Community's Academic Advisor, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Seray Özden Keleş, Young TEMA Community President Egemen Orhan, and community members were present. 

During the visit, the students informed our Rector about the community's activities and the competition process, and presented the first-place award they had won. 

Our Rector, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hamdi Topal, expressed his satisfaction with the achieved success and congratulated the students and the advising academic. Our Rector, emphasizing the value of the sensitivity shown by young people toward environmental awareness, highlighted the importance of these types of volunteer activities reaching a wider audience.

The visit concluded with a group photo taken after the presentation of the community badge to our Rector and the certificate for the tree donation made in his name to the Çanakkale Afforestation Areas.
