Our Rector, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hamdi Topal, visited the Rector of Kyrgyzstan-Turkey Manas University (KTMU), Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan, in his office. During the visit, our University's General Coordinator of International Relations, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Öztürk Akcaoğlu, was also present.
During the meeting, topics aimed at enhancing academic collaboration between our University and KTMU were discussed. In the meeting, evaluations were made regarding the increase of student and academician mobility, the conduct of joint scientific studies, especially the Orhun Exchange Program, and the diversification of cooperation areas between the two universities.
KTMÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan, highlighting KTMÜ's mission in the Turkish World with its high education quality, stated that Manas University, with its structure that brings together common values, cultural memory, and scientific production, is an important center that creates emotional and intellectual bonds between countries.
In his evaluation of the subject, our Rector, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hamdi Topal, stated that contacts with KTMÜ would contribute to the development of academic collaboration, and he noted that increasing student and academician mobility and joint scientific studies would lay the groundwork for advancing relations between the two universities.
As part of the visit, our Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hamdi Topal and the accompanying delegation met with international students studying at Manas University in the Multi-Purpose Hall of the KTMÜ Social Facilities Building. During the meeting, the students engaged in conversation, and an exchange of views on their educational processes and the international academic environment occurred.
