High school representatives from Indonesia visited our Rector, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hamdi Topal, in his office on May 12, 2026. During the visit, potential collaborations in education between the two countries were discussed, and evaluations were conducted on international student mobility and educational activities.
In the meeting held at the Rectorate, the General Coordinator of International Relations, Assoc. Prof. Dr. M. Öztürk Akcaoğlu, and the Coordinator of International Student Affairs, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Rıfat Kayış was also present.
Within the scope of the meetings, consultations were held on collaborations related to student application processes, educational and promotional activities, increasing cultural interaction, and developing projects that will contribute to the international recognition of our University.
Our Rector, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hamdi Topal, stated that our University continues its collaborations with educational institutions in different countries in line with its internationalization goals, and expressed that the visit would contribute to the development of educational and cultural relations between the two countries. Our Rector also noted that students from different geographies choosing our University contribute to the university's multicultural structure.
Indonesian representatives expressed their satisfaction with the opportunities our University provides to students and expressed hope that the collaboration will yield long-term, fruitful results.
