Kastamonu University students achieved a new success at TEKNOFEST 2025, Turkey's largest technology festival.
In the Artificial Intelligence Film Competition held as part of TEKNOFEST 2025, the "Virtual Edu" team, consisting of Computer Engineering master's students Duygu Batmaz and Mustafa Furkan Baldemir, won third place in Turkey with their film titled "Tohum," which they prepared under the guidance of their advisor, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ekmel Çetin.
Our Rector, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hamdi Topal, stated that TEKNOFEST is one of the most important platforms that broadens the vision of young people and guides technology, and he expressed that the success our students achieved here holds special value.
Our Rector stated, "Every success achieved by our university is valuable to us, but winning a degree at an organization like TEKNOFEST, which has national and international repercussions, not only broadens our students' horizons but also brings us great joy. "This success our young people have achieved at this festival strengthens our vision for the future," he said.
Our Rector also expressed his gratitude to all stakeholders and the TEKNOFEST team who contributed to the organization's preparation.
