Mindanao State University (MSU) President Atty Paisalin P. Tago and his delegation visited our university on November 17, 2025, and met with our Rector, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hamdi Topal.

The visit was attended by Prof. Dr. Minerva Saminah M. Naga, Vice President for Academic Affairs at Mindanao State University; Prof. Dr. Russell D. Briggs, Faculty Member at the State University of New York (SUNY); Mehmet Oruç Sasa, Secretary General of the Bangsamoro-Turkish Education Academy (BTEA), and his wife Saliha Sasa; as well as Sittie Norhaya A. Tago, Fatimah Aisha A. Tago, Jamilah Aishah A. Tago, and Sittie Faizah M. Naga from Mindanao State University. 

During the visit, which was attended by our Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Küçük, Dean of the Faculty of Forestry Prof. Dr. Mahmut Gür, and General Coordinator of External Relations Assoc. Prof. Dr. M. Öztürk Akcaoğlu, Prof. Dr. Miraç Aydın, and Prof. Dr. Renato S. Pacaldo evaluated potential collaborations for academic cooperation between the two universities, student exchange programs, and joint research projects. 

Speaking during the visit, MSU President Atty Paisalin P. expressed their desire to maintain relations between our university and MSU and to explore new areas of cooperation. Expressing their desire to benefit from our university's educational expertise, Paisalin P. Tago thanked our Rector for the interest and hospitality shown to them, and expressed their hope that mutual interaction and information sharing would continue to increase. 

Our Rector, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hamdi Topal, stated that they were pleased to establish closer cultural and academic relations with MSU, emphasizing that international cooperation activities enrich cultural interaction between students and academics, supporting the sharing of knowledge and experience.
