The Senate of Kastamonu University convened under the chairmanship of our Rector, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hamdi Topal.

The meeting held in our university's Senate Hall was attended by Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Mehmet Atalan, Prof. Dr. Selahattin Kaymakcı, and Acting Secretary General Assoc. Prof. Dr. İbrahim Demirbaş and the senate members. 

Speaking at the opening of the meeting, our Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hamdi Topal made evaluations regarding the preparations for the 2026-2027 academic year. Emphasizing the importance of conducting academic and administrative processes in a planned and coordinated manner, our Rector stated that the cooperation of all units would contribute to the efficient conduct of the new term.

Our Rector, mentioning the activities carried out by our university in the fields of education, research, and social contribution, stated that practices supporting the academic development of students will continue. Additionally, he emphasized that maintaining coordination between units is important for institutional development.

Additionally, in the meeting, the studies to be conducted within the framework of the academic calendar, planning for the new term, and academic and administrative matters were discussed. Senate members shared their opinions and evaluations on the agenda items.
