The Youth Festival, organized by Kastamonu University to celebrate its 20th anniversary, continued on its second day with high participation, providing unforgettable moments for students and the people of Kastamonu. The festival program, which brought together culture, art, sports, and entertainment, attracted great interest with events that lasted all day on campus. 

The festival program held on Thursday, May 14, 2026, featured many events, from sports activities and concerts to traditional games and stage performances. The events, which our students showed great interest in, continued throughout the day at various points on the campus. 

The first events of the day began in the areas set up at the Ay Yıldız Sports and Life Center in the morning. The award-winning sports competitions, endurance races, and fun activities organized throughout the day attracted great interest from the students. The tournaments held on the live foosball platform set up on campus were full of excitement, and with traditional games and events in various sports branches, the campus took on a festival atmosphere. Students experienced moments of intense competition and also had the opportunity to enjoy time with their friends.

As part of the festival, before the evening's "20th Anniversary Special Concert," the famous artist Kıraç visited our Rector, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hamdi Topal, in his office. In the meeting, which took place in a friendly atmosphere, evaluations were made on the 20-year development of our University, the youth festival, and the integration of artistic activities with academic life.

Our Rector, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hamdi Topal, expressed his pleasure in hosting the artist on campus, while Kıraç thanked our Rector and stated that he was happy to meet with the students.

The concert program, which started at 20:30, was of great interest to the audience. Filling the concert area, students and citizens sang along in unison to Kıraç's popular songs.

While the artist's stage performance brought great excitement to the festival area, the participants had an unforgettable night. Especially the moments of applause and sing-alongs during the artist's beloved pieces were among the most notable scenes of the concert. 

During the concert, our Rector, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hamdi Topal, presented the artist with flowers in recognition of their contributions. While the stage performance was supported by light and visual shows, the excitement in the festival area continued throughout the night. Students held their phones up to the stage lights throughout the concert, creating colorful visuals.

After the concert, DJ Onur Can took the stage and entertained the participants with his lively performance. With music and dance events continuing late into the night, students fully experienced the festival's excitement.
