Our Rector, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hamdi Topal, evaluated the academic and institutional goals of Kastamonu University during the senate meeting, emphasizing the vision of quality education and internationalization.

Our university's Senate convened under the chairmanship of our Rector, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hamdi Topal. The meeting, held in the Senate Hall, was attended by Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Mehmet Atalan, Prof. Dr. Ömer Küçük, and Acting Secretary General Assoc. Prof. Dr. İbrahim Demirbaş and the senate members.

Speaking at the opening of the meeting, our Rector said, "We must set new goals and elevate our University to a higher level." To achieve these goals, we are working resolutely with all our units. 

Our Rector, who also emphasized the importance of internationalization in higher education, stated that educational activities should be carried out with a more rigorous, institutional understanding to train qualified students. In this context, he stated that diversifying academic studies, increasing international collaborations, and training students to compete globally are among the primary goals.

Our Rector, noting that universities take on responsibilities not only as educational institutions but also in terms of scientific production and social contribution, stated that our University continues its work in coordination with its academic and administrative units in line with this understanding. 

The Senate meeting concluded after the agenda items were discussed, and the decisions made were evaluated.
