The Kastamonu University Senate convened under the chairmanship of our Rector, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hamdi Topal.
The meeting was attended by Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Mehmet Atalan, Prof. Dr. Ömer Küçük, and Prof. Dr. Selahattin Kaymakcı, Acting Secretary General Assoc. Prof. Dr. İbrahim Demirbaş, and members of the Senate. Preparations for the new academic year and studies regarding educational processes were discussed during the meeting.
Speaking at the opening of the meeting, our Rector, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hamdi Topal, drew attention to the importance of welcoming new students joining our university and the significance of their initial contact with our institution.

Stating that the environment and services offered to new students from the moment they arrive play a major role in shaping their first impressions of our university, our Rector expressed that the preparations made by academic and administrative units to facilitate the orientation process are of great importance.
Highlighting the need for students to access required information and services quickly and easily throughout their educational journey, our Rector emphasized that efforts carried out in line with students' needs and expectations must be further developed and maintained.
Furthermore, our Rector shared evaluations regarding the meticulous execution of preparations for the new academic year and the systematic management of educational processes. He noted that initiatives tailored to student needs hold a critical place in this process.
Other academic and administrative topics on the agenda were also discussed and evaluated during the meeting. The Senate meeting concluded following the review of all agenda items.
