The Senate of Kastamonu University convened under the chairmanship of our Rector, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hamdi Topal. 

The meeting, held in the Rectorate Senate Meeting Hall, was attended by Senate members, including Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Mehmet Atalan, Prof. Dr. Selahattin Kaymakcı, and Acting Secretary General Assoc. Prof. Dr. İbrahim Demirbaş, and faculty and college representatives. 

Speaking at the opening of the meeting, our Rector, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hamdi Topal, made general evaluations regarding the education and teaching processes following the midterm exams. Referring to the work our university is undertaking in both academic and administrative areas, he highlighted the recent achievements. 

In the continuation of his speech, our Rector emphasized that our University was the university with the highest number of projects accepted nationwide in the 5th term of UNIDES, with 39 projects, stating that this result demonstrated our University's project culture and academic dynamism. 

Our Rector also stated that within the scope of the TÜBİTAK 2237-A Scientific Training Activities Support Program, 5 projects were approved for funding this semester, and that the project work carried out by our students and academics made significant contributions to the scientific development of our University. 

In his speech, our Rector also touched upon efforts to improve the quality of education, the dissemination of student-centered approaches, and cooperation between academic units.
