Kastamonu University LÖSEV Benefit Student Community was awarded the title of "Most Active Community of the Year" for its volunteer, awareness, and social responsibility activities carried out among 143 benefit communities operating throughout Turkey. Our university has once again demonstrated its effectiveness in social studies by winning this award for the first time. 

The community, which organizes numerous events throughout the year to provide morale, solidarity, and social support to children and families affiliated with LÖSEV, has set an example through its volunteer-based activities. The award was presented to the winners at a ceremony held on December 5, 2025, in the LÖSANTE Hospital Ballroom. 

Our Rector, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hamdi Topal, expressed his satisfaction with the achievement and congratulated the student community, continuing his remarks as follows:

“We are following with great pleasure the voluntary activities carried out by our university students, which they undertake with a sense of social responsibility in addition to their academic development. The selection of our LÖSEV Benefit Student Community as the 'Most Active Community of the Year' nationwide is a significant indicator of the sensitivity and efforts of our youth.

I congratulate all our students, the community management team, and our advisor on their efforts in achieving this success, and I hope their work will inspire other communities as well.
