Our Rector, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hamdi Topal, visited the President of Türkiye Kamu-Sen and Türk Sağlık-Sen, Önder Kahveci, on April 16, 2026.

During the visit, retired and esteemed faculty member of Gazi University, Gazi Faculty of Education, Prof. Dr. Temel Çalık, as well as Prof. Dr. Yılmaz Yeşil, a faculty member of Gazi University, Gazi Faculty of Education, and also the Academic Coordinator of Türkiye Kamu-Sen and Türk Eğitim-Sen, were also present. 

During the visit, evaluations were made regarding the common working areas of higher education and public employees. 

In the meeting where education, academic collaborations, and socially focused contributions were discussed, the importance of advancing inter-institutional relationships and acting together toward common goals was emphasized. 

Thanking the President of the Public Workers' Union of Türkiye and the Turkish Health Workers' Union, Önder Kahveci, for their interest, kindness, and hospitality, our Rector, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hamdi Topal, emphasized the importance of continued increases in inter-institutional cooperation.

Önder Kahveci, the President of Türkiye Kamu-Sen and Türk Sağlık-Sen, expressed his satisfaction with the visit, stating that our University holds an important place for them and that the cooperation will continue within the framework of mutual understanding.
