Our Rector, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hamdi Topal, visited the Ishak Razzakov Kyrgyz State Technical University (KSTU) on April 23, 2026.
During the visit, which included our university's General Coordinator of External Relations, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Öztürk Akcaoğlu, discussions were held on student and academic staff mobility between the two universities, the development of joint educational programs, and areas for potential collaboration in research activities.
While the Vice-Rector for International Relations, Akylbek Urkalievich Chymyrov, was giving a presentation on the university's activities, the Head of the International Office, R.B. Bakytov, provided information on the existing collaborations with Turkish universities and shared the development opportunities in these areas.
In the meetings, existing academic partnerships and potential areas for future collaboration were evaluated. Additionally, information was provided on the work carried out by our University in internationalization, research, and the development of qualified human resources.
At the end of the visit, a cooperation protocol was signed to foster academic and institutional relations between the two universities. Within the framework of the protocol, the development of joint projects, the support of scientific research activities, and the promotion of long-term academic collaboration are aimed.
At the end of the visit, our Rector, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hamdi Topal, examined the university's research and application infrastructure on-site and visited the Turkish CezeriLab Laboratory, the Student Services Center (SSC), the FabLab, the DEFA Center, and the Drone Laboratory. During the inspections, potential areas for joint collaboration were emphasized.
