The delegation of the Şehr-i Dilara Turkish Music Community, led by Güray Soğancı, Music Teacher at Orhan Şaik Gökyay Fine Arts High School, visited our Rector, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hamdi Topal, in his office on May 14, 2026.

During the meeting, ideas were exchanged on joint projects and cultural collaborations that could be undertaken by our students and the community.

During the visit, Güray Soğancı, who provided information about the community's activities, stated that the Şehr-i Dilara Turkish Music Community has reached its 15th anniversary and expressed their desire to share this special year with the youth of our University. Expressing their request to organize a free concert for our students as part of the celebrations to our Rector, Soğancı expressed their gratitude for the hospitality.

Our Rector, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hamdi Topal, expressed his pleasure at the delegation's kind visit and emphasized that the development of our students in the fields of art and culture, as well as academics, has always been a priority for them. Stating that such steps taken to preserve Turkish music are very valuable, our Rector expressed that they will continue to support any activities that benefit students and wished success to the members of the community in their work.
