Kastamonu Organized Industrial Zone (OSB) Manager Seçil Dilekçi Çakmak visited our Rector, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hamdi Topal, in his office on January 20, 2026. 

During the visit, topics such as joint projects that will contribute to regional development, efforts to develop qualified human resources, and increasing cooperation between industry and academia were discussed.  

Our Rector expressed his satisfaction with the kind visit, stating that universities play a role not only in education and research but also as stakeholders contributing to the region's economic and social development; he added that collaborations with industry make this process more meaningful.  

Kastamonu OSB Director Seçil Dilekçi Çakmak, on the other hand, thanked our Rector for his hospitality, stating that, as an OSB, they prioritize planned, long-term collaborations with universities, that these efforts contribute academically to production processes, and that they lay the groundwork for increasing employment opportunities.  

The visit concluded with a commemorative photo taken in honor of the day, following expressions of mutual goodwill.
